Deleting a hubHub Your law firm's own client portal, with its branding, its team and all of its cases in one place. closes it for everyone at once, stops billing that day and, after 30 days, erases everything in it. Only an Admin of the hub can. To stop paying and keep your records, cancel your subscription instead.
Open Billing & Subscription
In the hub's Admin PanelAdmin Panel The staff-only side of a hub, opened with the Admin button, where the firm manages cases, users, templates, automations and settings., go to Settings › Billing & Subscription. Under End your subscription, choose Delete hub.
If your subscription has ended or a payment failed, that card isn't shown. Choose Delete hub in the notice under Your Plan instead, beside Restart subscription and Use a new card.
Check what deleting means
The Delete hub window names the hub and says what happens now, until the last day you can restore it, and after. Nothing is sent yet. Choose Delete hub to go on, or Keep hub to stop.
Enter the code
A 6-digit code is emailed to you, titled with the hub's name, such as "CaseActive One-Time Deletion Pin for Demo Injury Law". If your account has no confirmed email address, it comes by text. Type it under Code and choose Delete hub. The code works for 10 minutes. Resend code sends a new one.
What happens next
- At once. Your Hubs page opens with a message such as "Demo Injury Law will be deleted on Nov 16, 2026.", and Undo for 10 seconds. Nobody can open the hub's portal or Admin Panel, and its keysKey A secret token, created under Integration, that lets your own software use the hub's API. stop working. Anyone who opens its address lands on their Hubs page. The subscription is cancelled: nothing more is charged, and the rest of the month or year isn't refunded.
- While it waits. The hub sends nothing: no reminders, automated posts or birthday messages. Events already in people's calendars stay there.
- For 30 days, any Admin of the hub can restore it from the Hubs page. See Undo a hub deletion. Restoring brings back the data, not the subscription: the hub is read-only until an Admin restarts billing, which charges a full month or year that day. If nobody does, the hub is scheduled for deletion again 3 months after you deleted it.
- After 30 days, everything in the hub is deleted for good: cases, updates, files, forms, invoices, templates, settings, saved cards and everyone's place in the hub. People's accounts and their other hubs stay. An email domain verified for single sign-on with this hub is released.
If something goes wrong

- "Too many incorrect codes. Please wait 15 minutes, then request a new code." After five wrong codes, no code works for 15 minutes. Wait, then choose Resend code.
- There's no Delete hub. Only the hub's Admins see it.
