Your law firm may send you a form to fill in, such as the details of your accident. Your answers save as you go, so you can finish later.
Open the form
Tap Click here in the email about it, or the link in the text. Or open your case and, under To DoTo Do The list on a case of things waiting for you, such as forms to fill in, documents to sign or events to confirm., choose Open Task beside it (on a phone, Fill The Form).
You can also open Forms, and under Your Uncompleted Forms, choose Submit Form in the row's Action list.
Fill it in
Some answers are filled in from your case, so check them. Fill in every required field. To sign, tap the signature box and draw your signature, or choose Type or Image to type your name or use a photo of it.
Your answers, signature included, save as you go, so you can leave and come back. Your law firm sees nothing until you submit, and an unfinished form is kept for 30 days after your last change.
Submit it
Choose Submit. You can't change your answers afterwards. If one is wrong, message your law firm: they can clear your answers so you can fill in the form again.
What happens next
Your law firm is told you've submitted it. The form moves to Your Completed Forms, where View Form shows your answers. Until you submit, you may get reminders before it's due.
Some forms repeat, such as a weekly check-in: you're asked to fill them in again each time they're due.
If something goes wrong
- "First, you need to fill in the required fields" Fill in every required field, then choose Submit again.
- "This is too large to save. If you used a picture for your signature, please draw or type it instead, or use a smaller picture." Draw or type your signature, or use a smaller photo.
Your law firm may have changed what you can do in the portal. If an option described here is missing, ask your firm.
