Turn case page sections on or off

Choose which sections, such as Invoices, Convos or Notes, your hub uses on every case page.

In this article4 sections

Each moduleModule One section of the case page, such as Feed, Forms or Invoices, that an Admin can turn on or off. is a section of the case page, such as Invoices or Notes. Switching one off hides it on every case in your hub, for everyone. To hide a section from one role only, such as clients, change that role instead; see Change what a role can do.

  1. Open Modules

Go to Settings › Modules. Each module has a card with a switch.

  2. Switch sections off or on

Switch off the sections you don't use, and on the ones you do. Most cards are named after their section: Convos for calls, Events, Forms, E-Signs, Invoices, Notes and Tasks. Case is the case's details, Info, and Team is Your Team, the list of who's on the case. Posts, the case's Feed, is always on: every case has a Feed.

Keep Team on: without it, people see only themselves under Your Team, can't pick anyone by name to mention or to invite to an event, and see your team's details left empty wherever a form, e-sign or note fills them in. Their own details and your firm's still fill in.

  3. Save the change

Choose Save Changes. People see the change the next time they open the portal.

Only Admins can change modules. Managers see the switches and Save Changes greyed out, with a note that only an Admin can change these settings.

What happens next

A switched-off section leaves the menu of every case page, and its items leave everyone's To DoTo Do The list on a case of things waiting for you, such as forms to fill in, documents to sign or events to confirm. list. Nothing is deleted: switch the section back on and everything is there again.

If a welcome rule adds items from a section you switched off, take them out of the rule; see Welcome clients automatically when they join a case.
