Before you start

Move your hub to another plan, or switch between monthly and yearly billing. Yearly billing is two months free. During your trialTrial The first 14 days of a new hub, before the first payment is taken. a change costs nothing; after it, you pay only the difference.

  1. Open billing

Go to Settings › Billing & Subscription. Change plan is under Your Plan.

  2. Pick the plan

Choose Monthly or Yearly, then the plan you want. Your plan now is marked Current. For Enterprise, choose Contact us on its card instead, which opens CaseActive's contact form.

  3. Review the change

In the bar that appears, choose Review change. The window shows your current plan and the new one side by side.

  4. Confirm it

Choose Confirm Change, or Confirm Downgrade for a smaller plan. Your Plan shows the new plan.

Only Admins can change the plan.

What happens next

During the trial nothing is charged. The trial ends on the same date, and the new plan is billed from then.

After the trial, the new plan starts at once:

  • A bigger plan is charged at once for the rest of your current month or year, less the unused part of your old plan.
  • A smaller plan charges nothing today. The unused part of your old plan becomes a credit on your next invoices.
  • Monthly to yearly, or yearly to monthly, starts a new billing period today. It's charged at once, less the unused part of what you've paid, and anything left over becomes a credit.

A hub on Enterprise sees its plan under Your Plan.

If something goes wrong

  • "Payment method is invalid or cannot be processed." The charge didn't go through, so your plan hasn't changed. Replace your card and try again.
  • The page says "Please enter valid payment information before proceeding". A payment is still owed. Pay it first, as in Unlock the Admin Panel after a failed payment. If you've just paid by bank debit, try again once it clears.
  • There's no Change plan. Your cancelled subscription has ended. Restart it first.
